School & Teacher Programs Intern to the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago, May - August 2012
As the summer 2012 intern to School and Teacher programs at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago I to help support the coordination of a variety of school tours and programs for students. In my role as intern I assist with the digital documentation and coding of educational events and data. This included the establishment of and posting to 6 different blogs used as documentation sites for Educator Open House: Rashid Johnson: Message to Our Folks, Educator Salon Skyscraper: Exploring Art and Architecture, and Teacher Institute: Inquiry to Action. Additionally, I helped in the development and planning of the Teacher Institute, a week long residency for teachers hat serves as the launching pad to a year-long engagement in teaching with contemporary art objects and creative inquiry.
