Outcome: Develop an appreciation of arts and their traditions within the context of a global perspective

 

As students present the historical/sociological/biographical component of their presentation, I encourage them, if they have chosen an artist within their native language, to present their material to the class in their own language with written translations on their PowerPoint slides.

 

Artist statement is written in English in their PowerPoint presentation with bulleted summaries of key concepts and key words explaining how their art work relates to the techniques used by their favorite artists.
