Skids
At night the faint
Light
Rose up from the field
Loudly
With flares
And sparks
The voices echoed
Splashing against the sky
She would watch from far away
Alone but anxiously listening to the clash
Of a beer bottle on the asphalt.
She would fall asleep
As the cars skidded away,
Black circles on her vision.
