Copy an Assignment

Reproduce an assignment previously built in Digication from within the same course, from other courses and from previous semesters. 

 

 

Begin by clicking on the Courses button at the top left side of the page.

Then select the course you would like to manage from below the My Courses menu.

 Note: The screen will display all of your Current Courses.  You can view at previous courses taught in the Past Courses tab.   

 

In the course page click the Assignments tab.

Click Add Assignment button.

For an assignment previous built in Digication click the Browse Assignment button. 

Search for assignments from a previous semester or from a Shared Library using the drop down menus in Search for Assignments

 

Once you have located the past assignment click the Add button at the button of the assignment.

This assignm,ent can be edited by selecting the Edit button on the upper right side of the screen. 

Add Evidence (or the actually documentation students will submit for this assignment) by selecting Workflow steps with the Add Step button.  Note: Each assignment needs at least one piece of evidence

Select the type of step need from the right sidebar.

Add This Step to select the evidence, rubric, reflection, or standard need for students or instructor to document completion and evaluation of the assignment.

Specify details about the evidence, reflection, rubric or standards for this assignment

 

It is highly recommended that assignments not be given a Deadline under the This Step will no longer be available heading.  If an a student misses the deadline for any reason they will be locked out of submitting it at a later date.  Note: Assignments will come to you stamped with the exact date and time it was submitted.  Use the date and time stamp to identify if the deadline was met.  Deadlines can be specified in the Description

 

Identify how the evidence is being used with the This Step Assesses drop down menus. 

Save

To remove an Assignment or Workflow steps by clicking the Delete this step button.

Note: This will permanently remove this assignment of step and the content can't be retrieved.
