Although Cedar Rapids is known for its thriving arts and culture scene with two renowned theaters, the African-American Historical Museum and a Museum of Art, since the area is identified as BMX, dog and rugby friendly, I spent a lazy Sunday walking the distance on the gravel Old River Road. The site also features a Winnebago Park decimated by the massive flooding of the Cedar River in 2008.
