“A modern philosopher who has never once suspected himself of being a charlatan must be such a shallow mind that his work is probably not worth reading.”

As author and artist, I am a charlatan. My work is nothing more than an echo of the pervasive styles into which I have been baptized, the histories into which I have been immersed. I daily place my work before the mirror of self-reflection, analyzing again and again what has influenced me, what has shaped me, what motivates me, the driving force behind my creative expression.

"We learn history not in order to know how to behave or how to succeed,

but to know who we are.”
